Eddie Valls - Associate Partner

Edward Valls is a Partner leading the U.S. Tax division at Accountor CPA. He holds a Master’s Degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and is a certified advisor in both QuickBooks Online and Xero. With more than 17 years of experience, Edward brings extensive expertise in U.S. tax strategy, full-cycle accounting, financial statement assurance, and business advisory. He works closely with business owners to navigate complex tax requirements, strengthen financial processes, and improve overall business performance.

Edward’s experience as a Tax Accountant with KPMG, an Auditor with BDO and an Auditor with the State Auditor’s Office of Texas provided him with a strong foundation in public accounting and audit. His experience includes tax planning and financial statement assurance, and financial operations for small and growing businesses. In his career he’s worked with clients in professional services, healthcare, construction and other small business sectors, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face.

Prior to joining Accountor CPA, Edward founded, built, and successfully exited a full-service accounting practice with a team of 15 employees serving more than 500 clients. This entrepreneurial experience gave him firsthand insight into building scalable operations, leading high-performing teams, developing lasting client relationships, and managing the financial complexities of a growing business.

Edward brings his accounting expertise and a pragmatic, direct and client-focused approach to Accountor CPA. He’s committed to giving business owners simple advice, practical insights and effective solutions, not unnecessarily complex financial advice. As a Partner, he is dedicated to building strong teams and client relationships and to driving the strategic growth of Accountor CPA into the U.S. market.

Edward enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and hiking outside of work. He’s an avid home cook, especially if it involves making authentic Cajun, Mexican and Texas cuisine for those he loves most.
